What We Seek:
We are looking for an energetic Principal to join our investment team and help us identify the best early stage companies leveraging AI today and help our portfolio companies grow. As company builders, founders and investors ourselves we are looking to add a top new investment talent to our investment team to expand our investment practice. We welcome candidates who possess a growth mindset, strong analytical skills and ability to handle ambiguity.
What You Will be Doing:
Source early stage deal-flow. You will be responsible for generating deal flow and finding interesting companies to invest in. You will also be expected to network with other industry professionals or entities that bring proprietary deal flow to the fund as well as proactively prospect for opportunities.
Evaluate opportunities . You will evaluate investment opportunities, determine key issues, leverage your network and firm resources to perform due diligence. To do this successfully, we expect you to be a smart and logical thinker, to be able to learn quickly, and to seek out expert opinions.
Communicate with entrepreneurs and executives. To support deal sourcing and evaluation, you will communicate directly with entrepreneurs and executives. You will have to have to have strong people skills and strong communication skills, and be able to network and build rapport quickly.
Perform due diligence for potential new investments. You will be responsible for calling customer and personal references to validate companies and entrepreneurs and uncover any critical issues that we should consider in our investing.
Facilitate investments and support company building efforts. You will be responsible for investment memos, market analysis, financial models, and benchmarks that companies need to be aware of. You will attend board meetings as an observer, supporting the General Partner, and eventually on your own.

Must Haves:
- MBA or demonstrated success as an entrepreneur.
- At least two years of experience post-MBA working at a US growth technology company in a product or engineering role or at a venture capital firm doing early stage investments.
- Strong people skills and have the ability to interact professionally with company founders and executives.

What We Seek:
We are seeking an experienced senior recruiter at AI Fund who will work with our leadership team and hiring managers to identify VC-backable entrepreneurs to join our ecosystem. Successful candidates will understand the importance of creating a positive candidate experience and be results-oriented while keeping the bar high. Besides hiring executives/co-founders type of profile, you will also be responsible for recruiting non-executive roles as needed. You will wear multiple hats including business development (sourcing and networking), quality control when screening candidates entering the recruiting pipeline, facilitate the interview process, and close offers with reasonable costs and on a quick timeline.
What You Will be Doing:
You will work with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs. You need to sync with the company’s leadership team and hiring managers regularly to identify hiring needs and prioritize positions based on the portfolio company's goals. You will need to master the recruiting process and advise hiring managers on job market trends and compensation structure. For each portfolio company you support, you must understand their vision and their product inside and out in order to present the data in such a manner that attracts the best talents.
You will need to ensure positive candidate experience throughout the entire interview process. This includes things such as timely follow-up, interview scheduling, maintaining open and transparent dialogue with candidates as well as the entire hiring committee and your manager.
Source high quality talent for all positions. We typically are requested to find the initial founding team of a brand new startup which means quality and ability to match up skill sets and personalities to optimize team structure is critical. You will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and engaging talents for all functions as well as negotiate a compensation package that focuses on long term gain.
You will recommend and execute the best recruiting strategy. You need to know what the most effective channels are to hire for different positions. We expect the recruiter to know where the best talents congregate and find every opportunity to network with talents to get referrals and gain their trust. Run recruiting campaigns and run virtual or face to face events on a quarterly basis.
You will be able to learn and use different HR and recruiting systems to assist with managing the hiring process and recruiting funnel. You will be responsible to use our ATS system and other scheduling and recruiting related systems including Greenhouse, Lever, HackerRank, Linkedin and other systems. You need to assist with our recruiting committee to list any type of job posting (career page job post, Linkedin paid job post, other social media job post) in order to advertise and promote the job. You will utilize different tools and resources to promote the job, and manage the candidates from different channels and migrate any new candidate data into Lever for tracking.
You will be responsible to negotiate offers that focus on long-term incentives within a reasonable timeline. You need to build strong relationships with promising candidates by knowing what truly motivates the candidates. In most cases, candidates who join our ecosystem focus on the opportunities instead of short term financial return. You need to identify candidates’ concerns, present opportunities and involve hiring managers/executives to the closing process in the right timing to close the offer.
What you must bring:
- At least 7 years of hands-on senior level recruiting experience running the process from beginning to end with at least 3 years of experience working as an in-house recruiter.
- Experience working in hi-tech startups with a preference working with artificial intelligence applications.
- Healthy network of high quality candidates and/or demonstrate the ability to create a network of them.
- Excellent interpersonal ability; strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Operational excellence. We expect you to be able to manage an efficient recruiting process - from sourcing, scheduling, screening to negotiating and closing offers - for multiple candidates simultaneously and constantly identify ways to improve the candidate experience.

Bearing - Lead Product Manager North America
Bearing is an early-stage startup at the forefront of bringing AI to the maritime shipping industry. This is a trillion-dollar industry that moves 90% of the goods we interact with on a daily basis but has traditionally lagged far behind other industries in adopting new technologies. At Bearing, we’re changing that. We’ve built AI-enabled products that solve the shipping industry’s biggest pain points and already have some of the world’s biggest shippers as our customers.
We are currently looking for an exceptionally talented product leader to join our small but growing team. This person will be responsible for leading core product efforts for Bearing. This will include defining new products, improving existing products and implementing product processes. We expect this person to be able to contribute on day one as an individually contributing Product Manager, but also to grow and help lead the product org. over time.

This person will work closely with our Chief Engineer and help with managing our growing team of engineers. Data Engineer Medellín, Antioquia
Job Description:
We are looking for experienced data engineers for one of our portfolio companies. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. For example, you’ll create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis. Overall, you’ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals.
To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of learning machine methods.

What You Will be Doing:
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture across multiple data sources, including licensed and scraped data
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional needs of AI/ML engineers and front-end engineers
- Design and develop optimal data processing techniques: automating manual processes, data delivery, data validation and data augmentation

About the Idea:
There are many scenarios in which marketers may solicit 100s or 1000s of pieces of freetext responses from users, such as:
- Market research to shape the definition of new products.
- Reducing customer churn by reaching out proactively to specific customers to solicit feedback.

Long-form multiple choice surveys have a low response rate. We have developed a new capability for marketers that enables them to synthesize user insights out of a collection of thousands or tens of thousands pieces of unstructured text written by users/customers/potential customers. In that synthesizing process, be able to predict customer desires, pain points and potential churn.
What You Will be Doing:
- Determine the launch product. The technology we have developed addresses multiple potential use cases. You will be responsible for evaluating these ideas or developing additional ideas yourself, and selecting a specific product direction to go to market.
- Build initial prototype and carry out validation. Working potentially with internal engineers and AI talents as well as design contractors, you will be responsible for developing an initial design of the product and collecting user feedback to validate the core business thesis.
- Build business case. Including initial financial models, TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, estimate of margin, competitive analysis, etc. As part of this, we expect you to validate (or falsify) user demand and willingness to pay, and also develop the initial GTM.

The Instructor will work closely with the Curriculum Development Director at FourthBrain to leverage their technical skills in ML to manage a cohort of students in a part-time ML training program. The instructor is responsible for facilitating live class sessions, preparing class materials, and providing feedback and guidance to each student. Your experience as an educator, technical skills in the AI space, and ability to communicate will all be critical for this role.

We are looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats, to lead our office operations in Medellin, Colombia. The ideal candidate for the role must be experienced in handling a wide range of finance, accounting, HR and overall administrative leadership related tasks. What You Will be Doing:
- Finance. You’ll serve as the accounting manager to oversee the outsourced accounting service vendors for payroll, accounting & treasury functions of the Colombia office. You will need to effectively coordinate the delivery of all accounting and financial reports, make timely payments to vendors, review local and federal taxes, and report all financial matters to our US headquarters on a periodic basis. You will also manage the corporate bank account, and monitor costs savings.
- Human Resources. You’ll be responsible for managing all required HR processes for the team, including: Employee Onboarding and documentation, payroll review, social security, amongst others. You will also work alongside the health & security management system to keep office adherence aligned with labor risk policies.

What You Will be Doing:
- The FIR will be in charge of launching the product and ensuring that the portfolio company is hitting its milestones towards its next funding.

- Securing and negotiating strategic partnerships

What You Must Bring:
- Strong experience in developing SaaS products and/or building communities.
- Experience in the marketing tools or sales enablement markets.
- Previous leadership and management experience.
- The ability to think strategically and the foresight to think about problems ahead of time.
- Experience with doing customer outreach, understanding market needs, and driving towards product market fit.
- Experience fundraising.
- Nice to Have previous startup or other small/scrappy team experience.
- MBA from top university preferred.
- Technical background, preferably with experience working in artificial intelligence.

We are currently looking for an exceptionally talented UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products. You will be responsible for gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
What You Will be Doing:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
What You Must Bring:
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma
