About Esteam
Jennifer Wong tells a story of the emotional and academic challenges faced by children with reading difficulties. Two-thirds of fourth graders in the US cannot read proficiently, which leads to huge societal impacts, including a $2.2 trillion economic loss as students lacking necessary literacy skills don’t enter the workforce to their fullest potential. Learning to read usually requires intensive 1:1 learning time with a teacher or private tutor, however most students don’t usually have access to either of these.
Jennifer founded Esteam to make literacy a birthright for all children. Providing rigorous and personalized support, Esteam leverages AI to offer continuous, high-quality support, bridging gaps in traditional education and fostering a sense of possibility in children.

She also served as Head of Mobile at The Honest Company and was Director of Marketing at Gracenote (acquired by Sony for $260M+).
