Igor is a senior recruiter at AI Fund, where he plays a crucial role in identifying top talent for portfolio companies and assembling high-performing teams. His specialties include finding individuals with the right blend of technical proficiency, creative thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit necessary to thrive in the tech field.
Igor comes to AI Fund as an experienced recruiter, previously leading distributed teams across Latin America and recruiting candidates from around the world. He also served as lead recruiter for a startup, facilitating its rapid growth from 60 to more than 300 employees in a year.
“This experience helped me discover my passion for working in the dynamic and fast-paced startup environment. It shaped my philosophy toward recruiting,” he says:

Using this approach, Igor builds relationships with both founders and candidates to effectively match talented professionals where they can make a meaningful impact.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Iggy is enthusiastically exploring the intersection of AI and HR by pursuing a master’s degree in people analytics from the University of Hull. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
