Andy Ku

As Partner at AI Fund, Andy Ku leads the product building team, which incubates and invests in startups. The team launches new startups from AI Fund in collaboration with Founders in Residence and corporate partners. Through hands-on venture building, Andy helps transform ambitious AI concepts into scalable companies that solve real-world problems.

“We’ve developed a systematic approach to company creation,” Andy explains. “We validate ideas, then bring on Founders in Residence to build alongside us. By the end of our process, we co-found a full startup, complete with a user-tested product, pre-Seed funding, and a founding team – everything needed to hit the ground running.”

Before joining AI Fund, Andy was a Partner at IQT, where he led investments in and served on boards of cutting-edge startups on behalf of the U.S. Government. IQT’s investments include GitLab (NASDAQ:GTLB), Palantir (NASDQA:PLTR), and RocketLab (NASDAQ:RKLB)

Andy’s product experience includes serving as Director of Product Marketing at LinkedIn, where he led the product marketing team that built LinkedIn’s job seeker business from the ground up — transforming how millions find employment opportunities. Earlier, as a startup founder, he built a mobile app using algorithms to match job seekers with positions aligned to their unique strengths and interests. His career began on the product team at Google, scaling products like Google Maps across Europe.

Andy’s commitment to mission-driven work led him to serve as a White House Fellow, where the US Secretary of Labor recruited Andy to further the Labor Department’s mission. In service to that mission, Andy led AI-driven workforce initiatives across federal departments. The White House Fellowship is a prestigious, non-partisan program that brings professionals from diverse backgrounds to engage in public service and work directly with senior White House staff and Cabinet Secretaries.

Andy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Stanford University.
