Kirsty Tan has spent more than two decades at the intersection of technology, strategy, and education — advising global enterprises, building companies, and developing leaders across four continents. As General Partner of AI Fund’s Growth Fund, she brings that global perspective directly to founders and investors, drawing on years of financial and M&A expertise with Fortune 500 across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
Her career spans management consulting at KPMG, regulatory compliance leadership at American Honda, and the founding of KST Consulting, which she ran for over 20 years. She co-founded the Circular Economy Alliance in Europe, and currently co-leads AI Aspire, an advisory firm with Andrew Ng, focusing on enterprise transformation through AI.
What sets Kirsty apart is a rare combination of deep business experience and academic rigor. She served for over a decade at École des Ponts ParisTech, where she was International Dean and Professor for an EMBA program in future tech and aerospace and the Shanghai International MBA — roles that took her from Europe to Asia. Throughout that time, she taught, built and led programs designed to shape the next generation of global technology leaders.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa. In addition to being a Chartered Accountant, she also holds a Ph.D in International Business, MBA, a bachelor’s degree with a triple major in commercial law, information systems, and accounting. A lifelong learner, she earned numerous certificates from universities around the world, including Stanford University School of Engineering.
