Michelle Lee

Sr. Executive Assistant

Michelle Lee knows what it takes to scale a startup from provisioning early team members’ laptops, all the way through acquisition. At rideOS, she spent five years building the operational infrastructure that let founders focus on building their product while the company grew from seed stage to a successful exit to Gopuff.

For co-founders building with AI Fund, Michelle brings the operational expertise to help translate vision into functioning company infrastructure—from day-to-day execution to preparing for exits.

Michelle started her career at Deloitte as an auditor, analyzing financial statements and working directly with Controllers and CFOs. She knows what acquirers look for when they’re doing due diligence.

After Deloitte, she spent several years in event planning, managing everything from corporate trade show booths at SXSW to complex multi-vendor logistics.

At rideOS, she established the company’s German office and was integral to the M&A process when Gopuff acquired the company—the person who knew everything about how the company actually operated.

“I started from pretty simple things—buying and provisioning laptops, handling calendars. My role eventually grew to handle operations, finance, and legal. That’s the nature of startups,” says Michelle.

Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in business and managerial economics from UCLA. Originally from Singapore, she lives in San Francisco with her family. She’s an avid runner and working her way through a project to run all of the streets of San Francisco.
