Mishkin Faustini has spent his career building systems that operate at the intersection of trust, scale, and emerging technology. From securing tens of billions in digital assets at BitGo and Anchorage Digital to developing AI platforms that synthesize knowledge in real-time, he’s drawn to the engineering challenges that sit at the edge of what’s possible.
As a Visiting Engineer at AI Fund, Mishkin focuses on AI product development, bringing his experience building scalable systems and leading technical teams to push forward what’s possible with artificial intelligence. He’s also the founder of ThreadScout, an AI-driven platform for real-time lead generation, and ChordFlow, an AI-native context platform that helps teams coordinate knowledge and reasoning.
At BitGo, Mishkin led engineering teams managing Ethereum, altcoins, staking, and mobile platforms, scaling staking operations to over $48 billion in assets. Before that, he built the infrastructure at Anchorage Digital that powered the majority of the company’s revenue and managed client deposits in the tens of billions. His work there included a nearly 50% reduction in infrastructure costs while maintaining the security and reliability required for institutional crypto custody.
Earlier in his career, Mishkin joined TrueCar when it had just 50 employees and worked there for a decade through the company’s IPO and beyond. As an engineering leader, he scaled teams, launched products used by millions, and built systems that handled the demands of mission-critical SaaS platforms serving nearly 9% of all new car shoppers in the United States.
Mishkin holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Davis.
