We are excited to announce Warren Packard has joined AI Fund’s executive team as Operating Partner.
Previously serving as a Venture Partner, in his new role, Warren will help manage our team of associates, partnering with entrepreneurs to create and develop new companies. A seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist with 2 exits as a founder and more than 30 as an investor, Warren brings a deep well of experience around company building and financing to AI Fund. He’s also an inventor, with his name on 18 patents, including several around AI generative video for creating real-time, personalized content.
“As a twice successful founder and longtime venture capitalist, himself, Warren knows what it takes to build a company from the ground up and become a market leader,” says Andrew Ng, Managing General partner of AI Fund. “We are fortunate to have Warren on our team to help us build innovative AI companies.”
Prior to joining AI Fund, Warren founded Thuuz Sports, an AI-powered sports video curation and delivery platform, leading as CEO for more than 10 years. Thuuz was acquired by Stats Perform in 2020.
Before Thuuz, Warren was a Managing Director and Venture Partner at DFJ, where he and his partners were the principal investors in a variety of current household names, including Tesla, SpaceX, Skype, Baidu, and Hotmail. He spearheaded more than two dozen investments at DFJ, realizing 21 exits.
Warren holds an MBA as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, all from Stanford University.
